“Where does the air go?”

An adult sets up a compatible car. Follow a trail from front to back and share what you notice.

One more question

“Does the air look the same above the roof and behind the car?”

Adult-assisted activity. Follow your unit’s instructions; airflow does not determine car speed.

A few questions of your own?

Do I need to know aerodynamics?

Start with a guess and describe what you see. The prompts support observation, not a complete science course.

Can children use it on their own?

Plan to help with setup, opening the chamber and changing nozzles. Follow your model’s age and safety guidance.

Can it tell us which car is faster?

No. It shows wind speed and visible airflow, not real-world car speed or performance.

Two cars.
What do you notice?

01 · Make a guess

Choose two compatible cars with different shapes. Where do you think the air will go around each one?

02 · Look together

An adult prepares and operates the unit following its instructions. Try one car at a time and note the wind-speed reading. Use the same reading for the next car.

03 · Describe, then ask

What looked similar? What looked different? What would you like to look at next?

Observation is not a measurement of car speed or proof of aerodynamic performance. Follow the product's age, safety and operating guidance.
